(Pieces) has published a technical white paper detailing the company’s pioneering Pieces Classification Framework for Hallucinatory Error, called the “Pieces Framework.” In this paper, Pieces addresses quality oversight and risk mitigation for hallucinations in AI-generated clinical summaries. The authors provide insight into the development of the Pieces Framework, the statistical methodology to ensure reliability, and areas of future exploration and safety research.
